The Truth Is...
This morning I felt impressed to repost an article I wrote 3 years ago. It seems to me as we are seeing tremendous growth and a return to Torah, we are also seeing so many "debates" over what each person sees as Truth. We can easily grow frustrated and weary from these endless bickering, so we need to keep our focus on Yahshua.
The Truth Is…
What is truth? Everyone seems to have their own distorted and twisted version of what they believe to be Truth. Almost everyone thinks they are doing what is right and they know the Truth regarding morality and how to treat their fellow man. We have digressed into a society that everyone does what is right in his or her own eyes.
There are churches on every corner. We have ladies auxiliary groups, men’s prayer breakfast, teen outreach, door-to-door evangelism etc. etc. and everyone thinks they are saved. There are hundreds of different religions and thousands of denominational fragments within each religion. All believe they have the Truth. All believe they know the Way to be saved. All believe they will have eternal Life. This generation is growing up believing that Truth is what you make it out to be, anything goes as long as you do not hurt someone else.
This distorted viewpoint makes Truth whatever is right for you at that particular moment. Situation ethics are the rule of the day. It’s okay to lie, cheat or steal as long as your intent was noble in your own eyes. We have spoon-fed our children the lies that Hollywierd has conjectured and then watched as our teenagers struggle with morality and Scriptural issues. We fathers have neglected to be the example that we are supposed to be and our children have found their role models in the entertainment industry. We wonder why we are losing our kids all the while they are being fed massive lies masqueraded as truth by their teachers at school, the books they read, the movies they watch and the music they are listening to.
Who is to blame for the degradation of our society? Who failed to do the job they were given? Who turned their heads in disinterest while those who are supposed to follow our lead went astray? The MEN!!
John 14:6 Yahshua said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Yahshua stated that He was the Road, Coarse of Life or Journey. He was the Stable, Established and Faithful. He was the Alive; Quick, or Springing up One. Since He is Truth and since there is no other Road except Him, anything that is contrary to His teaching is a lie and leads to death.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way, which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
Masses of people are on a road that is in fact a lie and is leading to death. How did this happen? You say they chose that road. It is true that we all make our own choices and we are each responsible for our own salvation. However, shouldn’t the leaders of the home be showing the right Path? Shouldn’t the men be leading by example and be walking in the Truth?
I loved my father; he was a good provider and worked hard for our family. But he followed the lead of his father and didn’t seek the Way. He chose to follow the same Life-style that leads to death. So I have to stop and ask myself, am I going to break the chain and seek Truth?
John 16:13 “But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.
The Ruach/Spirit will guide us into all Truth. Why are so many languishing without Truth in their lives? They do not have the Breath of YHWH leading them into the Truth. As leaders of our homes, assemblies and communities, we have neglected to allow the Ruach to lead us so that we may lead our wives and children. So as our wives search for the Truth we have failed to lead them to, we see women in leadership roles within churches/assemblies while the men are out golfing, hunting, fishing, at the bar or watching television. We see our children turning to things of ha Satan to fill the void within, as we try to ignore them so we don’t have to deal with the issues.
How do we turn this around? What can we as men do to make the balance right again? SUBMIT! We must decrease so that He might increase. To live is Messiah to die is gain. We have to understand that the battles we face within our homes, our jobs, our selves is a direct result of not submitting to the Ruach ha Kodesh and allowing YHWH to work through us,
1 Peter 2:21 For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps,
How can we say to our families, “follow me as I follow Yahshua,” when we are not following Yahshua but following our own carnal desires and the way of the flesh? What is the motive behind the decisions we make on a day-to-day basis? Is it to follow the leading of the Ruach, or is it to do what we think is right?
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of YHWH, these are sons of YHWH.
As men we are mandated to be the head of our homes. You are NOT ben YHWH, the sons of YHWH, until you are lead by the Ruach of YHWH.
Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, because they shall be called sons of Elohim.
Are you a peace/shalom maker? If not, you cannot be called a ben YHWH.
Romans 8:19 For the intense longing of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of Elohim.
The world, the United States, your community, your assembly, your home, your wife and children have an intense longing for the revealing/coming of the ben YHWH. This world is going to hell in a hand basket as they wait for the sons of YHWH to stand up and be counted. We are a band of weak and passive men who don’t want to be involved. All we want to do is bury our heads in the sand and hope that the problems disappear.
True ben YHWH are led by the Spirit of YHWH and the Spirit of YHWH will lead us to the fullness of the Truth. Why is there so much confusion and controversy over what is Truth? We are not full of the Ruach! We are not ben YHWH! We have refused to submit to the Set Apart Spirit and are not following His leading, so consequently we have lost sight of Truth.
Psalms 119:142 Your righteousness is righteousness forever, And Your Torah is truth.
The Torah is Truth. Let’s put the Word of YHWH back in your home, and throw the television out with the rest of the trash.
Psalms 40:11 Do not withhold Your compassion from me, O יהוה ; Let Your kindness and Your truth always watch over me.
Let YHWH’s Truth and Kindness always watch over us and this will change the way we talk, the places we walk and the way we treat our fellow man. We cannot expect the compassion of YHWH if we do not show the compassion of YHWH. (See the parable of the Righteous judge)
Yahshua said it best…
John 8:32 and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Be free today. Know the Truth, be filled with the Ruach, and let His Word be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. Hide His Word on your heart that you might not sin against YHWH.
Why are generations after generation growing more and more decadent? We men have not passed this Truth on to our children. As warriors in a spiritual warfare, we are not fighting and our not even equipped to fight. So as the casualties mount we idly sit by the way side blaming everything and everyone but ourselves.
Ephesians 6:13-18 Because of this, take up the complete armor of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand. (14) Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (15) and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; (16) above all, having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one. (17) Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim, (18) praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones;
Gird/bind/tighten our waist/loins with Truth. Where are your reproductive organs? Why must that area be guarded with Truth? Because, we are not passing the Truth on to our offspring, we are fighting our own battles with our own carnal weapons.
Let’s become REAL ben YHWH and be filled with His Spirit. Let’s then submit to the leading of the Spirit and admit we don’t know everything and there may be more that we need to know. Then let the Spirit lead us to the fullness of the Truth. Let’s take back what we have given up, our position as Spiritual leaders who are full of the Spirit, and lead our homes and communities to the Truth. As ben YHWH let's become the Shepherd/Priest/Warriors of our homes.

Getting Started
After much prayer and thought, I have decided to start blogging. I feel this is an excelled outlet to give expression and hopefully direction to others.
Most of my blogs will obviously be centered around my Heavenly Father, since He is the source of all good things. I have chosen to name this blog page Ben YHWH because that is the Hebrew way to say "son of Yahweh." YHWH is my Father and I look to Him for all of my guidance.
I am a husband and father who loves to be with my family. I have been married for 23 years this November and am blessed to have a 10 year old son. We work together as a family at the Senior Meal Center in Rains County. We home school our son Zachry, so he gets to help us with the day to day responsibilities of running a meal center for around 70 seniors and shut-ins.
My wife Margaret manages the meal center and is the perfect wife and mother. She loves YHWH and her family. Margaret has seen her share of heartache and sorrow, but still gives YHWH the glory and praise for all His blessings.
We are trying to live our lives in the way the Scriptures has outlines and are Torah observant while acknowledging Yahshua as our Messiah and Savior. We were life time United Pentecostals until we were led by the Spirit (Ruach) revealed these blessed Truths to us in 2002. The last 8+ years have been awesome as we have had so many Scriptural Truths revealed to us by YHWH. I am convinced that ALL who allow the Ruach to lead them come to the revelation of Truth. It is the lack of desire to seek Him and the shackles of man made traditions that keep us from finding YHWH's Truth.
